These Terms of Service govern your use of the Inter Face™ Methods platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

Inter Face™ Methods is a behavioral assessment and learning platform operated by EDGES, Inc. The Service provides behavioral assessments, professional development tools, coaching resources, and personalized learning materials designed to support professional growth and leadership development.

The Service includes features such as behavioral assessments, personalized reports, development planning tools, coaching notes, 360-degree feedback surveys, and optional generative AI-assisted features.

2. Account Eligibility and Registration

You represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction);
• You have the legal authority to enter into these terms;
• Any information you provide is accurate and truthful;
• You will maintain the confidentiality of your password and account credentials;
• You are responsible for all activity on your account and agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the Service. Prohibited behavior includes:

• Harassing, threatening, or intimidating other users;
• Posting false, misleading, or defamatory content;
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts;
• Uploading viruses, malware, or other malicious code;
• Copying or distributing content without authorization;
• Using the Service for commercial purposes without authorization;
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to discover the source code of the Service;
• Automating access to the Service through scraping, bots, or similar means;
• Violating any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service, including content, graphics, logos, images, assessments, reports, and materials, is owned by EDGES, Inc. or licensed from third parties. You retain your rights in the personal information and content you provide. You grant EDGES, Inc. a limited license to use that information only as needed to operate the Service, manage your account, provide requested features, and generate assessment outputs, reports, and learning materials.

The personalized reports, assessments, and recommendations generated for you are provided for your personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or publish these reports or assessments without prior written consent from EDGES, Inc., except that you may share your own results with your organization or coach as appropriate for professional development purposes.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• DISCLAIMERS: THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR TITLE.
• EXCLUSION OF DAMAGES: EDGES, INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
• CAP ON LIABILITY: THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF EDGES, INC. FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO EDGES, INC. IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

6. Assessment Disclaimers

The behavioral assessments and reports provided by Inter Face™ Methods are designed to support professional development and decision-making, but are not medical, psychological, or legal advice. The assessments:

• Are based on self-reported responses and may not reflect objective reality;
• Should not be used as the sole basis for hiring, firing, promotion, or other employment decisions without additional evaluation and professional judgment;
• May not apply to all individuals, situations, or organizational contexts;
• Are not a substitute for professional counseling, coaching, or medical care;
• Should be interpreted with professional guidance from a qualified facilitator or coach.

7. Data and AI Processing

When you use generative AI features (such as Daily Inter Face™ Methods Tips, message rewriting, or meeting note summaries), the text and profile context needed to provide that feature may be transmitted to Google Cloud Vertex AI for processing. By using those features, you acknowledge and consent to that processing. For more information about how your data is handled, please see our Privacy Policy.

8. Payment and Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription or service through Inter Face™ Methods:

• You authorize EDGES, Inc. to charge your payment method for the stated subscription price;
• Subscriptions renew automatically on the renewal date unless you cancel before the renewal date;
• Refunds are available only where stated during checkout or required by law;
• Payment may be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe or PayPal where available, and their terms also apply to your transaction;
• You are responsible for keeping your payment information current and accurate.

9. Termination

EDGES, Inc. may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms, created security or legal risk, misused the Service, or if suspension is needed to protect the platform or comply with legal obligations. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service immediately ceases;
• We may delete your account data, though you may request a copy before deletion;
• You remain responsible for any unpaid fees or charges;
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including liability limitations, indemnification, and intellectual property) shall continue in effect.

10. User Content and Feedback

You grant EDGES, Inc. a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use any feedback, suggestions, or content you submit regarding the Service. You represent that you own or have the right to use any content you submit, and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, services, and content. EDGES, Inc. is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party sites or services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms of service and privacy policies.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EDGES, Inc. and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to:

• Your use of the Service;
• Your violation of these terms;
• Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights;
• Any content you submit or transmit;
• Any unauthorized use of your account.

13. Modification of Terms

EDGES, Inc. reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes become effective when posted on this page. If the changes materially alter your rights or obligations, we will provide notice through the Service or via email. Continued use of the Service following notice of such changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms. If you do not accept modified terms, you must stop using the Service.

14. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to its conflicts of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or the Service shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation does not resolve the dispute, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in Bentonville, Arkansas, except where prohibited by law. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to waive your right to trial by jury and participation in class action lawsuits.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect, and the invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with the Privacy Policy and any other agreements referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and EDGES, Inc. regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements.
